30 Minutes OUTSIDE and Hit by a CAR!
Well tonight I decided to take the bike outside. When I went out it was sunny, 65 and NO WIND!!! I started out really strong and had little problems keeping a 14 MPH pace... I guess the inside riding has kept my bike legs going. Well I was riding into the Duplex Area of my subdivision about 10 minutes into the ride when I see a car coming down the street. It is on the wrong side of the road so I move to the otherside of the street. As I get close it turns sharp, I try to avoid it, but my front tire slams into it. I fought to keep my balance and did. The driver apoligized and then picked up his 1/18th scale RC car off the street... (Got You!) Actually it was pretty scary to have the front of the toy car go under my front wheel. I was wearing my regular shoes and so I was not clipped in. If I was clipped in I would have probably crashed. I then continued on and kept the pace going. Riding past the ponds I noticed they were smooth as glass and the leaves were not even rustling. The air was calm and just cool enough to be almost perfect for riding. The quite in the air strange after hearing the trainer when I rode for the past month. As I rode I could have swore I saw the shadows of my friends riding along beside me...
I truly miss riding with my friends...

Very funny, Darth. Very funny.
Thanks Darth I'm planning on coming for a ride in October and the first thing I though was Oh No! Darth is out of commission again! LOL
haha...glad you stayed upright. I know what you mean about missing people. I've put weight back on and only rode Monday. I'm always tired. I suspect allargies or an immune system war. Hope to see you guys soon.
