Reconstruction Begins
Well
I have been working all day on fixing the drywall from the sewage problem. When the guy came to remove the drywall he did a nice job cutting, but not very straight... A differance of 3" in a couple spots. So I spent the first couple hours making a very nice EVEN cut for the drywall repair. After the fun part of cutting and fixing the original cuts I began to cut the drywall to fit. (Really nice to have the VAN...2 Sheets of 4 x 8 1/2 Drywall) Getting the measurements was not too bad, but I was on the concrete floor of the basement and garage for about 4 hours... I am rather sore right now and hope to be doing better tomorrow. I will be getting up in the morning and heading back to Home Depot to get some trim and odds and ends. My BIL will be here sometime in the morning and will help with the taping. I also need to borrow the neighbors compound miter saw to cut the trim... This is when I wished I had better skills. I am just glad it was in the closets and not the main room. I am on a deadline since Mrs Darth has set up the carpet for late this coming week! DOH!!
Here are a few pictures of the closets BEFORE

Here are some Pictures after the drywall install
