20 Days, 17 Riding and 18 Rides

Well so far this year I have been on my trainer 17 days for 18 times. I decided one day to actually ride twice since I had such a bad day of food. Nothing like feeling less guilty about pigging out by riding an extra 10 miles. So the count on the year for me is around 200 miles in those 17 days. For the time I have this is great. I am still adjusting to my new saddle which prevents numbness, but does give me a bit of a sore rear. Even with the bike shorts the seat is different enough to make me have to readjust all over again.

My typical ride is around 40 minutes and 10 + miles. On a few days I have gone 15-20 miles, but the time for that is not always there. I am hoping to drop some serious weight by Spring and Summer so I can do some really long trail rides without killing myself. With my new eating habits and riding habits I have already dropped around 5 pounds! On Monday I will know the exact amount. My goal by June 1 is to drop 30 pounds so when I ride this summer I can focus on getting the shape and weight I want without all the extra pounds. After breaking my Elbow I put on 20 pounds! So now that the broken elbow and tendon issue are behind me there are no more excuses... RIDE RIDE RIDE... EAT HEALTHY!!! BE HEALTHY!!!
