Home again

I reconsidered a long ride today and just came home from the P's. I had a 20-25 mph headwind and it was very slow. The trail after fairfield was horrible. The trail in libertyville is different more gravel and clay. This was more sand. My tires were lke coated taffy apples with nut coating. Between the wind and the friction I lost speed coasting down hills. It is raing too. Still not bad and I have 79 miles for the year thus far.
